Motorola in June told a news site that its X series is “alive and well” and soon the news of a Moto X4 began to seep. There are even discussions that the company could unveil the phone in Berlin this year. There are many other Moto X4 leaks flooding the Internet, but a new Slashleaks leak apparently gave the full Moto X4 design this time around.
The phone in question looks blue in the photo with a very large, large and slightly protruding camera module in the back. The module includes two cameras with a double tone flash. Earlier leaks suggest that the Moto X4 could be equipped with 12MP and 8MP sensors at the rear, while a 16MP sensor at the front.
The back of the phone seems to be glass and looks a lot like the S8, with the exception of the camera module and, of course, the brand logo. The supposed Moto X4 in the image has the same curves at the edges as the Galaxy S8. However, the photo contradicts the previous leak that suggests a sensor mounted on the rear mounted.
This means that the phone’s home button could also double as a fingerprint sensor. At the front of the so-called Moto X4, we see a start button with the company’s three traditional keys. Latest rumors suggest that the X4 Moto could come with the IP68 rating, which means it would be resistant to dust and water.
An Evan Blass leak also indicates that the phone might have a metal design and come with 3D glass. The leak also indicates unspecified AI integration, which means the phone could come with the Google Assistant, while the company started supporting the Google Wizard this year.
Leaks in the past also indicate that the phone could have a 5.2-inch touchscreen and run on the Android 7.1.1 nougat. In addition, the phone comes with a 64 GB memory that could be expandable with a microSD card. There are discussions that the company could add a 3000mAh battery to the phone and power the device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset.
